IP Permit Comments

Clean Water Network of Florida's comments on the proposed permit for International Paper. Clean Water Network of Florida has been working to get International Paper (formerly Champion) to obey the Clean Water Act for the past 13 years. We previously sued Champion/IP in Circuit Court in Escambia County and that suit is now a Class Action Lawsuit pending in Escambia County Circuit Court. We hired experts in 2004 to review IP's proposed permit and submitted extensive comments on the proposed permit. Here are the comments that Clean Water Network of Florida submitted:
