1/25/11 - Lee County MS4 Permit (Comment Letter)
The following comment letter was sent to Eric H Livingston and Jim Giattina Re: Notice of Draft MS4 Permit for Lee County.
Because this is Lee County's first MS4 permit since the TMDLs were adopted for the Caloosahatchee Estuary and other Lee County waters and near-shore waters, and because stormwater pollution in a major factor in the total contribution of pollutants to Lee County's impaired waters, we believe that it is critical that the new MS4 permit for Lee County fully implement the CWA and Florida laws and regulations which require the maintenancea nd protection of all waters for their designated uses.
