Action: call your public TV station to see a PBS documentary on dam decommissioningThe work of Jane Marks and Bruce Hungate and other colleagues at Northern Arizona University is highlighted in a PBS documentary narrated by Ted Danson and produced by an Emmy Award-winning team. This documentary tells the story of how environmental advocates and a major corporation ended up working together to decommission a dam and restore a river for native fish. It also highlights the importance of university research to inform adaptive management decisions being implemented by the many resource agencies who carried out the river restoration work.
